VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS)
Every year we enjoy a week of fun and learning in the evenings, from 6:15pm-8:30pm. We schedule our Vacation Bible School (VBS) during the last full week before school starts in Green Lake. It's a great way to get back into a routine, learn about the Bible, and have a lot of fun!
In 2010 we explored space in a “Galactic Blast” as we participated in a cosmic adventure praising God. We saw our awesome universe and our awesome God in a whole new way August 16-20th. It was fun to explore space with you and your friends!
In 2009 we transformed the church into "Camp E.D.G.E." in order to Experience and Discover God Everywhere. This was an adrenaline-filled, creative Bible-based program which helped children understand that God is with them at all times, in all places, and in all circumstances, ready to help them and guide them. Blaze, Sparx the Fox and Extreme Jean helped these wonderful young people come to know Jesus as their friend and Savior who went to the extreme for them. Link to photo album.
In 2008 our theme was "Beach Party: Surfin' through the Scriptures" and all of our surfers had a great time learning some "Beach Be-Attitudes." We spent the week surfing through stories that reminded us to Be kind, Be forgiving, Be bold, Be obedient, and Be-lieve. Link to online "Beach Party" pictures.
In 2007 we did "Lift Off and Soar to New Heights" with God. Registrations for sky scouts were taken at the end of July. VBS was held August 27-31. Click here for photos.
In 2006 our theme was "Adventure of the Treasure Seekers" and all of our treasure seekers had a blast. We spent the week absorbing the promises that God loves us, God forgives us, God knows us, God treasures us and God will always be with us! See pictures here.
In 2005 our theme was "The Circle G Ranch" and we’ll let the pictures in the Photo Gallery tell the story. Our last night we actually went out to Cedar Ridge Ranch for a wagon ride, crafts, games and music. At the Circle G Ranch we learned to put God at the center and that God's love never ends.
